I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with a Masters in Social Work from Wheelock College (now a part of Boston University). I graduated in 2013 and became independently licensed in Massachusetts in 2017. Prior to starting my therapy practice in 2019, I held clinical roles including:
-
In-home Family Therapist, Bay State Community Services, Quincy
-
Group Facilitator, social skills groups at Skills for Living, Norwell
-
Program Director, Beal Street Group Home, Hingham
I now provide individual therapy to adults, adolescents, and parents / caregivers. For clients 10-15 years old, I incorporate family work in support of the client's goals. I am no longer offering family therapy or couples counseling.
While a variety of models inform my practice, my work is fundamentally strengths-based and relational in style. To forge meaningful therapeutic relationships, I practice with honesty, empathy, humor, and endless curiosity. Above all else, I strive to create a space where people feel comfortable and safe to explore their thoughts & feelings. My goal is for all clients to feel seen, heard, understood, and believed. It is through such experiences that we find the courage to change our lives.
